Click in to your ski boots from your front door and be on the T-bar ski hill within seconds. This is a true ski in ski out location which makes a quick lunch back at the condo extremely convenient. 5 golf courses are within minutes, including world renowned Trickle Creek only a 2-minute drive away, this is truly the best of both worlds in every season.

This condo has an amazing kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances in a well thought out design that is a joy to cook & entertain in while you watch the skiers going down the front face of the mountain. Appliances include fridge (ice maker, and filtered water), ceramic flat top stove, microwave, dishwasher, clothing washer & dryer, coffee maker, tea pot, blender, popcorn maker, slow cooker and waffle maker. Fully stocked kitchen includes place settings for 8-10, ample glassware, plastic cups, bake ware, and all utensils needed, even a turkey roaster! The kitchen table seats seven plus the eating bar includes two barstools.

The wood furniture was hand crafted right in Kimberley, B.C. and is custom made for the condo. There are beautiful HEATED slate stone floors in the kitchen and bathrooms and hardwood in the living area on the main floor, which also includes a half bathroom and washer and dryer. Main floor also has an electric fireplace, foosball table and AIR CONDITIONING complete with a flat screen cable TV, Blu-ray DVD player (along with a selection of DVD’s and books for you to enjoy) with Bluetooth sound bar as well as NETFLIX included! Just off the living room there is a door that leads to the rear balcony where you will find the PRIVATE HOT TUB, a patio set with seating for 6, a natural gas BBQ and of course a breathtaking million dollar VIEW overlooking the beautiful Purcell mountain range. The sunny front patio also has seating for 4 and a clear view of the front mountain face of the ski hill, only 30 seconds from your front door!

Upstairs you will find 2 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with in-floor heating throughout. Both bedrooms have wall heaters AND Air Conditioning. The master bedroom includes a king sized bed, a pull-out sofa bed as well as a flat screen cable TV and full en-suite bathroom. Ironing board and iron are also located in the large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen sized bed, bunk bed that has a double bed, single top bunk as well as a single trundle bed. Children’s stories and board games make this room complete!

There is one designated HEATED underground parking stall as well as ample exterior parking.

Things To Do in Kimberley

At an impressive elevation of 1,110m/3,642ft, Kimberley's altitude, often sunny skies and impressive amount of snowfall (Annual average of 400cms – 13 feet) means it's a favoured ski/snowboard destination in the Kootenay Rockies.

Skiing and golfing are the primary reason many visitors come to Kimberley but there is so much more to discover including hiking, nature walks, endless paved biking pathways such as the 40 km Rails to Trails path which connects Kimberley to Cranbrook, Nordic trails, fishing, rafting, 1,800 acre Kimberley Nature Park, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing barely touch the surface of things to do. Lussier Hot Springs is 60-minutes from the condo and is an amazing sight to see (and feel). Marysville Falls provides a perfect photo ‘op’ on a short, beautiful 10-minute hike, just minutes from the condo.

A walk down the downtown pedestrian walkway known as the “Platzl” is home to Canada's largest freestanding cuckoo clock, a must-stop candy store, numerous boutiques, eateries and of course the Kimberley City bakery. Spirit Rock Climbing Center is also found on the Platzl and just a block away you can go back in time and take a train ride on Kimberley’s Underground Mining Railway.

The drive out to Kimberley is spectacular and it is also accessible by air via Calgary International Airport (YYC) and the new Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) located between Cranbrook and Kimberley, BC.

Challenge yourself in a round of golf at several championship courses including Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap, Kimberley Golf Club, St.Eugene Mission, Cranbrook Golf Club, Wildstone, Shadow Mountain, or the friendly Mission Hills.

Drive an hour north to Fairmont hot springs and you can take on the Mountainside and Riverside Courses. Eagle Ranch and Copper Point are another 20 minutes up the road from Fairmont. Grey wolf at Panorama is a 2 hour drive from Kimberley.

Cranbrook is a scenic 25 minute drive and there you’ll find a Tim Horton’s, Wal-Mart, Save on Foods, Home Depot, Canadian Tire and much more.

Wasa Lake is a 30-minute drive from the condo and offers a sandy beach ideal for young families to enjoy a day in warm, clean water.

The historic Fort Steele is also only a 30-minute drive and provides a look into the history of the region and the Royal North West Mounted Police.
